The 2012 Kermit Long Kid's Fishing Derby is in the books and was a great success. Over 70 fish were measured at Denne's Dock on Saturday, July 28. 27 kids entered one or more fish.

Thanks go to KRLA and the many cottagers for their financial donations. Thanks also to Sandra Moad, Toi Madras, Louis Selva and Mike Davies for help at the dock.

There are 3 permanent perpetual trophies for the 3 longest fish overall. First place went to Nick Arnott's 17 1/2 inch largemouth bass. Second place was won by Blake Tonna with a 15 1/2 inch largemouth bass. and third place was a tie with Blake Tonna's 15 inch largemouth and KC Long's 15 inch walleye.
