Nagaya Beach Committee

Nagaya Beach is a focal point for North Kahshe cottagers and residents alike, as a swimming and meeting spot.

The KLRA and Town of Gravenhurst own the beach, though the KLRA does lease a section from the Town. 

The Nagaya Beach Committee is responsible for maintaining the beach which includes providing portable toilets (rented), swimming raft and keeping the area clean.

Each August the KLRA Annual Regatta takes place at Nagaya, with the Kahshe community enjoying a fun day of events including swimming and running races, a volleyball tournament, water balloon toss events and the ever popular BBQ. 

Interestingly, still standing at the west end of the beach, is the pump which was once the water source for nearby cottages.
