Communication, Outreach and Membership Committee

COMcom, as it is known, is responsible for a wide and varied scope of activities which promote, enhance and support the KLRA’s goal of creating community.

Top of the priority list is membership management.  Whether you are inquiring about becoming a KLRA member, are renewing your membership or have questions about your membership, this is the group to go to.

COMcom produces the ever popular Kahshe Krier newsletter, which highlights lake activities, events and issues important to Kahshe Lakers.  These often include environmental, local and conservation concerns.

Our website and social media presence as well as the community information bulletin boards you see around the lake, are all maintained and overseen by COMcom.

The Good Neighbour Handbook is a key project of COMcom.

The KLRA Boutique, seen at events all summer long is the place for all your Kahshe swag. T-shirts, mugs, copies of “Healing Waters”, the “A Year on Kahshe” calendar are some of the items COMcom purchase or create and sell as part of its outreach efforts.

Finally, members of the the COMcom group administer the Kahshe Lake Photo Contest and the annual Outstanding Volunteer Award
