Kermit Long Fishing Derby

The 2024 Kermit Long Fishing Derby is happening on Saturday, July 27th from 8:00am to 4:00pm.  The Derby is open to ages 16 and under.

Rules

HAVE FUN!

Fish must be caught during the contest period July 27^th from 8:00am to 4:00pm ONLY.  No entries may be submitted prior to Saturday, July 27th at 8am. All participants will receive a prize!

2 Ways to enter your catch:

1. In person at the Miller/Swirla cottage located on the NE side of Boyd Island. 5^th cottage on right from top of the island through the twin rocks OR
2. at Denne’s Marina Government Dock from 3:00pm-4:00pm only.

Announcement of Winners

Winners will be announced Sunday July 28th via Kahshe Lake Facebook Page (@KahsheLakeRA) as well as the KLRA website :  https://kahshelake.ca/

Winners may pick up their prizes at the Miller/Swirla cottage starting Sunday July 28th at 8:00am- 11:00am. As well as Denne’s from 11:30am-12:30pm.

The Kermit Long Fishing Derby contest is intended for ages 16 and under. We encourage all ages to participate by volunteering  & donations are graciously accepted.

We had a total of 80 entries and 38 children fishing last summer, let’s beat that this year!
