Travelling exhibit on temporary loan from Sherbrooke Museum, Quebec and on display

July 7 to November 4, 2012

Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre

"Watt’s Up" is divided into 5 zones placed around a house

full of electrical appliances. To make them function,

electricity has to be produced by visitors:

  • muscle energy with dynamo bicycles
  • wind energy with two wind fans and one wind turbine
  • solar energy with the sun lamp and its solar panel
  • hydroelectric energy with a hydroelectric dam

The fifth zone deals with energy consumption.

Super interactive exhibit for kids as well as adults.
