KLRA Survey Results - District of Muskoka Bin Site Transition Plan

27 Feb 2020 6:17 PM | Anonymous member (Administrator)

KLRA members responded in large numbers to the survey started on February 16 about the District of Muskoka's plan to remove waste bin sites around Kahshe and Bass.

The results of the survey are available here.  It makes interesting reading.

It turns out that the bin sites planned for removal this spring are even more important than was previously thought.

We have sent the results to District staff and politicians.  We are arranging meetings to achieve our near-term goal of keeping the bin sites until we can get an acceptable plan.

We also asked you to complete a survey on the District’s Engage Muskoka website.  We now have learned that Gravenhurst (read Kahshe Lake) has provided more feedback than any other municipality.  Way to go, Kahshe and Bass!

We’ll keep in touch.
