Johnette has asked me to submit a message of thanks to publish in the next issue of the Kahshe newsletter, but I will enter it here as well:

"Johnette and Bob Ollman wish to thank their friends and neighbours for their support at the fundraising dance held recently in aid of Johnette's current fight with cancer.  Thanks to Scott Dunlop for spearheading this idea by offering his DJ services at no charge for this dance; and to Donna St. Denis and Donna Williamson for collecting such a vast variety of items for the silent auction; and thanks to the donors of these items!  Thanks to all who participated in the auction, and for other donations made that night.  Thanks to Joyce Frank for her personalized watercolour card, and to all those who contributed their messages of support in that card.  Thanks also to the Kahshe Golfers for their tournament in Johnette's honour, and to Pat at Sobey's for the gift card.  This exhibition of generosity of Kahshe folks is setting a good example for the next generation."  mt
